Hello everyone. I wanted to give a update about the business and what's going on. Recently I got a job working with an additive manufacturing group. It's going to eat up some more of my time, but the good news is this is a place where I can learn and grow, and gain experience working with industry grade machinery. I can't say who I'll be working for until my 90 days are done, but I promise anything I learn there is going to be invaluable to my prop and costume work. I've been very quiet this last year, trying to be better about when and how I announce things. I've received many complaints about "you said something cool was coming soon!" and there hasnt been much to show. Let me reassure you, I have many cool things coming up. Please try and keep in mind I have made agreements with some people where I can't just spill the beans as easy as I would like to. But do try to be a little more patient, I promise the new stuff will be worth the wait. I'm going to try to stream on Christmas day for a few hours, to catch up with some of you all and share some more good things coming up. Consider it the end of year update stream. I'd like to officially announce: We are phasing out our commission based model for taking orders. Commissions have been hellish, For every one good order, we had 2-3 complete screwups. Also after the clients who doubled dipped on refunds by abusing paypal's refund service, I decided It was time to shift gears and change everything. Are we still making Tokusatsu based items? Absolutely! But we will not be taking on any commissions for some time, not until we have secured a better system for everybody involved. So what will we be doing now? We will still be producing videos and prop stuff. But Prop and costume work is changing. I decided to start focusing on one item at a time, building and inventory of those items and doing runs. This way we can circumvent months of waiting, and turn it into week long or less turnaround time. Part of the issue with the commission model was me not taking into consideration time, and possible screw ups on my end. I ended up making some mistakes while working on parts, I'm only human after all. Problem is, I would be dipping into my own funds to fix these issues. Sure I'd get a commission completed...... but because of my mess ups, I'd be making those commissions at a heavy loss. That happened close to 80% of the time. On top of that, what eats up so much of my time is custom making everything, from the beginning. I am not having any of it anymore. With the new model I am trying out, I'm making everything digital, and moving into new methods of manufacturing my parts. This way, people can buy the files to make themselves, or wait for an official run of that item. Any way you look at it, this new method will allow me to get people their stuff FAST. This would also still keep me open to people on a tighter budget for their projects. We have plans for other fun Items outside of Tokusatsu stuff, things I think any cosplayer would be happy to have in their life. More on that soon enough, When we are ready for our first run of items I'll be sure to post it up everywhere. Thank you again for the continuing support, I'll have much more to share on the Christmas day stream. Wishing all of you a happy holiday season, and if you arent the type to celebrate during this time of year, I hope your winter season leaves you feeling warm and safe. See you all soon~ -Dusty PS Go buy that Kuuga book, I have to pull down my motion comic soon so download it if you liked it!! The video served its purpose so I have to keep my end of the deal, Mission accomplished!
